ERS SAR raw data is 5bit. i.e. from 0 to 31 as integer. However, the actual IQ values are centred at 0, ranging from -15.5 to 15.5 using all quadrants of complex domain. This is when the nominal_mean_I or nominal_mean_Q are 15.5. DC_bias values correct systematic deviation of centre value from 0.
